No binding offer
In principle, no content of the website or marketing emails from swisstopo constitutes a binding offer to visitors to the website. If swisstopo wishes to make an invitation to submit a bid or, in exceptional cases, a binding offer via the website or via marketing emails, swisstopo will expressly and unambiguously declare this to be the case. If there is any doubt on this matter, the visitor must assume that swisstopo does not wish to make a binding offer.
Liability

Data protection
We attach importance to protection of your privacy and, in particular, to data protection. We take security of your data on the Internet seriously. We therefore protect your information by modern security systems, comply with the data protection provisions and only make use of your data for internal purposes.
All systems in which your data are stored are password-protected and only accessible to a defined group of persons at swisstopo. These persons are governed by stringent security criteria which prohibit disclosure to third parties.

We advise you to choose your email address as your username because in all likelihood no other customer would choose the same address and duplication is therefore impossible.
